Jorgito and I went to the Omaha Zoo with Jill on Arbor Day. Jill is our African traveling friend and is used to seeing these animals from a Safari jeep. She was full of fun facts and personal experiences of seeing some animals in the wild :)
It was the first day that the gorillas got to play in their outside areas since being cooped up all winter. They were almost as excited as we were.
The butterflies didn't have any special new areas to play but they were beautiful none the less.
Jill got to ride the Skyfari. Jorgito was forbidden to ride by Papa Jorge as we took him on it last year and it was a terrifying experience floating over the open cheetah pin with a wiggling 2 year old.

No trip to the zoo is complete without a train ride! The Omaha Zoo beats the Lincoln Zoo in every area with the exception of one....THE TRAIN!!! We waited on the train longer than the actual ride but we had a wonderful day at the zoo with Jill :)
