Ten months have been full of firsts for Jorgito! He has had this tooth for about a week or two but this is the first time he let me take a photo of it. (He was distracted watching Baby Signing Time)

Christmas Day 2009
We were supposed to spend Christmas Day at my parent's house celebrating with the Knerr side of the family however that was rescheduled due to the SNOW!!! My parents as well as my brother and his girlfriend decided to come to our house because they both have tractors and could make it through the 6 foot high drifts.
This was a very memorable Christmas. It was just the 6 of us and we stayed in sweatpants all day, we had soup instead of turkey and ham, we played games and watched video of Tyler and I growing up....priceless! We will never forget Jorgito's first Christmas!!!!

Jorgito's FIRST Steps!!!!
I had my camera out trying to capture a good pic of Jorgito standing up in his reindeer outfit when he took off towards me. He took two steps and lunged into my lap!!!

September~We took our first weekend trip with my parents, brother and his girlfriend to Hastings where we all ran (Jorgito included in his running stoller) in the Hastings College Ram Run. Jorge turned 30!
October~My mom, Jorgito and I tagged along with Jorge to San Diego, California for a week of fun in the sun while Jorge presented at another conference. Jorgito was a spider for Halloween

10 months old and ready to start TRAINING
Today we watched the 2009 Ironman in Hawaii on TV: 2.4 mile swim followed by a 112 mile bike ride and ends with a 26.2 mile marathon. Upon the tearful and dramatic ending Jorgito decided that he is ready to start training!
Bike
Run ~ Look Ma no hands!
Pfew...all that training is exhausting. Don't worry Jorgito is staying hydrated
I found this little number at the children's used clothes store. It was on the clearance rack with all the Halloween costumes about a month ago. HA HA HA score!!!
Jorge is doing a half Ironman in Kansas on 6/03/09. Jorgito will be sporting this outfit while we cheer on daddy pending...he still fits in it then:)

Weekend Winter Wonderland
We (my 2 Jorges, my parents Deb and Larry and my brother Tyler and his girlfriend Jamie) spent the weekend at Mahoney State Park celebrating my Dad's birthday and his retirement from Burlington Northern. The best part was definitely just spending a whole uninterrupted weekend together. Here are some the highlights.

Another Snow Day
My 2 Jorge's were stuck at home with me today due to the wonderful blanket of snow we received last night. We decided to make the best of it this morning and went for Jorgito's first sled ride.
Check out my Husker snow suit and Elmer Fud hat. If I'm going to be a real Husker I better get used to this white stuff.

Santa BABY
Jorgito met Santa for the first time over the weekend at Legacy where Great Grandma Knerr lives. Santa and the Mrs. even brought the reindeer and afterwards we ate peppermint icecream and cookies. It was a wonderful afternoon.
