Tourists in Lincoln

We recently had a visit from our good friend Josh and his wife Laetitia. She is from Belgium and they now live in Colorado. They stayed in Lincoln for a week so we tried to do fun "touristy" things.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful mother's day. Jorge made me breakfast and we spent the morning playing with Jorgito. We then went to my brother and his girlfriend's house for a Mother's day brunch. Unfortunately we had to leave a tad early as Brunch=nap time and someone could hold it together any longer. In the afternoon my mom, Jorgito and I went on a little shopping trip followed by ordering pizza at my parents house. We ended the day with a Mother's Day ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.

The only complaint is that I got real used to not cooking...I'm having difficulty getting back in the kitchen!!! Maybe Jorge wants Chinese tonight :)

Grandpa's little buddy

Where ever Grandpa is Jorgito is sure to follow....whether that be in the garden, tractor, or truck Jorgito doesn't want to miss a thing...and Grandpa makes sure he doesn't :)

May Baskets

Jorgito decided to focus his May Basket giving this year on his grandmothers. That was no small task considering there are 3 of them....that's just in America, he also has 3 in Chile. Grandma Marcela, and Great Grandmas Adela and Raquel.

What a lucky boy!

This is Grandma Deb, outside of Jorge and myself this is the person that Jorge spends the most time with....and LOVES!!!! Grandma watches Jorgito while I am at work...Grandpa Larry helps.

This is Great Grani. She continues to live in the same little house in the country outside of Waverly/Lincoln that I used to visit when I was Jorgito's age. Jorgito had a blast climbing up and down these stairs and using Grani as the railing.

This is G.G. short for Great Grandma, she lives at Legacy Retirement Homes. Jorgito gets to see G.G. once a week as it is conveniently located right between my house and my office downtown, so when I have to work all day (only once a week) I meet my mom and Jorgito at G.G.'s on my lunch break.....for his lunch break :)
