Circus

Jorgito took his best friend Tucker to the Circus.

It was Jorgito's first time so he had to have all the traditional treats.

All that popcorn makes you thirsty

mmmmm....snow cones

We were going to ride the elephants until we discovered that adults couldn't ride along so we opted for ponies

Spring Fever

It's not officially spring yet, but you would never know it with the recent weather. :)
Nothing quite say SPRING like baby chicks!!!

Lucky for us my friend and co-worker Tony (who Jorgito refers to as Pony) is an urban chicken farmer.

Jorgito just couldn't get enough of these little fuzzy balls!

Jorgito and Tucker decided to have a St. Patty's Day picnic on the "beach" at Holmes Lake.

After dinner they did lots of "boy stuff" like throw rocks and sticks in the lake and run around crazy-like in the sand.

Then they hit up the swings...

and finished the lovely evening by running up and down the "big hill" also know as the damn :)

The Terrific TWOs

On February 18th Jorgito turned 2 years old!

Everyone has heard of the terrible twos, however Jorgito has assured me that he is not playing into those silly stereotypes ;)
Grandma and Grandpa came over bright and early to get the celebration started with a breakfast birthday cake and candles.

They also brought this awesome John Deer off roading trike...unfortunately as you can see Jorgito's legs need to grow about 6 inches to reach the pedals.

Jorgito partied all day long and in the evening he had the family over for a birthday dinner.

From left to right: Jorgito's grandpa Larry, great-great uncle Lew, great grani Mary Jo, grandma Deb and great grandma Doris aka GG.

Proud papa Jorge next to aunt Jamie and uncle Tyler who just got back from their Mexican vacation with great news...THEY ARE ENGAGED!!!! Yipee :)

The next day Jorgito hosted a party at Lost in Fun with 10 of his buddies. Jorge won the coolest dad award by getting this inflatable dog costume from his friend's Scott's business in Omaha. Yes that's Jorge inside there.

Red food dye anyone?

Arm deep into a gift

Jorgito decided to dig into his Latin roots and provided a pinata for the party entertainment.

While the other children were running crazy to pick up all the pinata candy, Jorgito was just running crazy in circles so excited to be surrounded by his friends.

After breaking the pinata they turned on music for a dance party.

The next day Jorgito was a little blue as all the partying had come to an end. So Jorgito brought the dog costume out for one last hurray!

Happy 2nd birthday Jorgito!!!
