9 month well baby check...well and NAUGHTY!!!

Jorgito had his 9 month well baby check today and here are his updated stats: 24lbs (92%) and 30 inches tall (95%). Apparently the doctor's comment about being a strong and health baby went straight to his head because when we went home he decided to pull this little trick.

OK... this is dad's toothbrush, and here is how I'm gonna get it.....

Pull out this drawer and push my music table against the wall...

Then get on top of the music table and PRESTO...the toothbrush is mine :)

These photos were taken after the incident and with Jorge spotting Jorgito while we reinacted his little trick. The first time he did it I was putting my contacts in and I didn't notice him until he was standing on the table waving the toothbrush at me. Silly little boy!!!!

Outdoor Picnic

The weather was so amazing today we decided
to go get a couple nice steaks grill out. It was wonderful but we ate dessert INSIDE :)

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas (at least in our living room)

Hmmmmmm what's dad going to do with the green stuff in this box?

OK dad let me get that one for you :)

What a beautiful tree...now how can I get those red balls???

`

As you can see...my two Jorge's have successfully put up the Christmas tree together. Sure it's a little early but it took several hours (due to the little helper) so we thought we are going to enjoy it for as long as possible.

9 Months Old Today

My baby Jorge is 9 months old today! Just think I could have made him a sibling by now :) Time is flying and he is becoming quite the little individual. He is mastering his lawn mower (video below) he pulls himself up on everything, and he has two gears of crawling: fast and zoom mode. He should have had a 9 month well baby check today but his mom forgot to schedule it so those stats will be posted when we she gets her stuff together..too busy blogging I guess :)

Unfortunatly I thought to capture this on video after he wore himself out practicing.

New Bath Toys

The Zuniga Family spent this past Saturday evening in Omaha. Jorge and friend Ryan Long went to a runner's gathering while Jorgito and I went shopping with Ryan's wife Amelis and 3 month old daughter Isabella. They were good sports while we spent entirely too much time at Babies R Us. We pretty much went down each aisle and at the end of it all the cashier says to us..."wow are you guys still here or did you leave and come back"? Awesome! Also Amelis shot some video of Jorgito kissing Isabella's hand which you can check out on my facebook page.
`
All the toys in the bath aisle at Babies R Us can't compete with the faucet!

short video :) Does anyone have any advice of how to stop babies from trying to pull up and stand in the tub?????

Thanks to Skype and the internet we have recently been able to start having weekend meals with Jorge's family in Chile. The cast of characters changes but one thing remains the same...Marcela's cooking. Mmmmmmmmmm......Que Rico!!!!

The Everlasting Christmas Letter

Jessie, Jorge and Jorgito Zuniga (JZ3)

I think this blog will most likely be an ongoing version of my annual Christmas letter. Instead of a reading a whole page of the Zuniga recap of ---- (enter year here) I will use the Blog to continually update you if you so choose to read. My goal is to post updates on a weekly basis....We'll see.....

Basically this blog is for you...whoever is reading this right now...most likely Deb, and grandma, some relatives and friends in Chile (the ones that speak English and/or just want to see photos of Jorgito) and every once in a while our friends here in the states that could pick up the phone or jump in the car and come see us for a "live" update but would rather log on and read about us in the comfort of their living room :) Enjoy!
